Every year SOLAREC collects more than 1.5 billion litres of milk from local farms, which it then processes into products such as mozzarella and butter. In general, the factory runs for 48 hours, followed by a 4-hour break. During this break, the machines are cleaned and the factory is sanitised.
To ensure the quality of the products, only top-quality milk is used. So, we only work with farmers who make the health and well-being of their animals their top priority.
Good hygiene is essential for quality products. For this reason, the SOLAREC factory has an Elpress hygiene entrance at every entrance to the production hall. In addition, all washbasins in the production hall were supplied by Elpress and they use boot and apron racks.
The co-operation between SOLAREC and Elpress is experienced as pleasant by both. They work together at several production locations. SOLAREC plans to double production within five years, and here too hygiene will play an important role in the production process.
