Elpress is contributing to a greener future with the construction of 'Het Vossenbos'. The first trees are now in the ground. A nice step towards a new nature reserve in 'Het Land of Cuijk'.
Het Vossenbos: from plan to reality
At Elpress we believe that sustainable business goes beyond our products and processes. That is why, in cooperation with the province of North Brabant, we started a special initiative: the construction of Het Vossenbos in Het Land van Cuijk.
What began as a plan on paper is now visibly taking shape. The first planting has taken place and the young trees are firmly planted in the ground. Where previously there was an open terrain, a new piece of nature is now emerging step by step.
Why Het Vossenbos?
With this project we actively contribute to a more sustainable environment. In the coming years, Het Vossenbos will grow into a valuable nature area with various advantages:
- More space for biodiversity
- Contribution to carbon storage
- Strengthening the natural habitat in the region
- A place where humans, animals and nature come together
The young plantings and open landscape show well how this area will develop into a fully-fledged forest in the coming years. An initiative we as Elpress are proud of.
